Kediler of Istanbul
Istanbul is littered with Kedi (Turkish: “cat”). Here’s some that I met in Istanbul, many of whom were very friendly. The culture in Turkey is very different than other parts of the world. The street cats here are treated like members of the community, rather than pests. People leave food out for the cats, give them names, and welcome them into their shops and restaurants.
